This is the first artwork in the EL MAR series.

With this piece, I aim to convey a subtle sense of the ocean’s presence and its surroundings. It is an interpretation of water, wind, grass, soil, old wood, and rust – elements that define the natural scenery of the sea. The colors and tones capture the ocean’s infinity and calming energy while hinting at new horizons and adventures to come.

The ocean symbolizes timelessness and eternity. It reminds us of the importance of pausing, embracing the present, and being mindful. Only then can we truly experience life and find meaning in simply being alive.

The painting is created with a blend of white, brown, umber, and blue tones – a palette that reflects both the serenity and power of the ocean. The technique is executed with acrylic on Lana Vanguard Hi-Tech paper, a high-quality, acid-free material made of 100% polypropylene.

Framing: The artwork is tastefully framed in a simple oak-colored frame with thin plexiglass, highlighting the painting’s soft tones and clean expression.
