My work explores the balance between spontaneity and stillness, where color and texture become essential elements to express a world beyond the concrete. Through an intuitive process and dynamic use of acrylics, layers, and diverse tools, I create paintings that invite an emotional experience—a space where the viewer can find both calm and energy.
Rooted in abstract expressionism yet influenced by the fleeting landscapes of nature, my art allows color to lead the way, resulting in pieces that reflect an inner journey. Hints of landscapes, skies, and horizons may emerge but are never fully defined, giving each piece a dual nature—open to interpretation while grounded in a sense of place and atmosphere.
I draw inspiration from artists like Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler, and Gerhard Richter, whose work bridges the internal and external. My own style is the result of a self-taught process, shaped by life experiences and a persistent need to create. Being autodidactic has allowed me to develop a personal and unrestricted approach, where each brushstroke and shift in color contributes to a genuine and unique creation.
My paintings are not intended to narrate a specific story or address a particular issue. Instead, I aim to offer the viewer a space to rest in the power of color, allowing their own thoughts and emotions to emerge. Through my work, I hope to inspire optimism and a sense of future possibilities—a reminder that every encounter with art is an opportunity to see something new and uplifting.
It is a democratic process in which my paintings continue to live on through the viewer’s interpretations, where the dialogue between the artwork and the audience is as important as my own intention in creating it. My goal is to bring a timeless aesthetic experience to any space they inhabit, a reminder of the power of color and form to create meaning and connection.
