Abstract Minimalism by Gustaf Tidholm

Sunny Side Up is a luminous exploration of warmth, clarity, and lightness. Working exclusively with yellow tones—from pale lemon to rich, sunlit gold—I built this composition through transparent layers and scraped textures. The surface feels almost weightless, yet carries the quiet strength of light filtering through still air.

This piece embraces a minimalist palette to evoke an expansive inner atmosphere—an open field of perception where nothing is fixed, yet everything is felt. It shifts with light and distance, revealing subtleties in surface and tone that are never quite the same twice.

For me, Sunny Side Up is a visual breath—a moment of pause, joy, and brightness. A soft awakening to presence.
